HAPPY EASTER!
On this day over 2000 years ago, Jesus was discovered missing from His tomb.
The good news is that He had risen, taking away the sins of the world. Jesus did not fail on the cross.

A WORD FROM OUR LORD
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.”
— 1 Corinthians 2:2

Middle East Conflict Intensifies Further

Over the past few days, tensions between the United States and Iran have moved beyond threats and into direct confrontation.

The biggest development is that a US fighter jet was brought down over Iran, and efforts are still underway to locate the pilot. This marks a serious escalation, because it is not just indirect conflict anymore. It is direct military engagement between two major powers.

At the same time, Israel remains involved, with ongoing strikes and responses across the region. What started as a contained conflict is now pulling in more countries and becoming more complex.

A key concern right now is the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway where a large portion of the world’s oil passes through. Any disruption there could affect global energy supply, which is why so many countries are watching closely.

What makes this situation different is not just the fighting itself, but how quickly it is expanding. More actors are getting involved, and the risk of miscalculation is increasing.

ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE
In moments like this, it is easy to take sides. But as Christians, we are first called to pray.

Scripture says, “I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people” (1 Timothy 2:1).

That includes people on every side of this conflict. Not just those we relate to, but all who are affected.

RUSSIA-UKRAINE NEWS

Ongoing Strikes & War Pressure In Ukraine

The war in Ukraine is continuing with a steady pattern of drone and missile strikes across multiple regions. These are not isolated incidents, but part of an ongoing cycle where attacks happen frequently and often target areas beyond the front lines.

In the latest developments, several regions have been hit again, including cities where people are still trying to live normal daily lives. Homes have been damaged, infrastructure has been disrupted, and civilians continue to be affected. In some cases, people have been killed or injured simply going about ordinary routines.

What stands out is how consistent these strikes have become. Rather than sudden large offensives, the conflict now looks like constant pressure. Attacks are launched regularly, often at night, keeping people on edge and making it difficult for life to feel stable anywhere in the country.

At the same time, Ukraine has also been carrying out strikes inside Russia, particularly targeting energy and infrastructure sites. This means the conflict is no longer contained to one side, but is being felt across borders.

CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE
Jesus warned that wars and conflict would be part of the world we live in: “You will hear of wars and rumours of wars… but see to it that you are not alarmed” (Matthew 24:6).

That does not make moments like this easier, but it does remind us that none of this is outside of God’s awareness or control. In a world that feels unstable, we are not called to panic, but to trust that God is still sovereign, even here.

JERUSALEM NEWS

Jesus of Nazareth Missing From His Tomb

Early this morning, reports began spreading that the tomb where Jesus of Nazareth was buried is now empty. He was crucified just days ago and laid in a sealed tomb, guarded and secured. But those who went to visit the site say the stone has been moved and His body is no longer there.

Some claim they encountered messengers who said He has risen. Others are confused, trying to understand what could have happened.

Among the first to arrive was Mary Magdalene. She went to the tomb early and found it open and empty. She later said that when she looked inside, she saw two angels sitting where His body had been, one at the head and one at the foot. They asked her why she was weeping. At first, she believed someone had taken His body and did not know where it had been placed.

THE PERSPECTIVE
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”- Matthew 28:6 (KJV).

A newly discovered comet has passed extremely close to the sun, putting it under intense heat and pressure. Scientists are watching closely to see if it survives or breaks apart, which will determine whether it becomes visible from Earth in the coming days.

Manchester City secured a dominant 4–0 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter final, with Erling Haaland scoring a hat trick and leading a strong attacking performance. The result sends City into the semi finals and reinforces their position as one of the most in form teams this season.

Several valuable paintings, including works by Renoir, Cézanne, and Matisse, have been stolen from a museum in Italy. Authorities believe the theft was carefully planned, and an international investigation is now underway as officials work to track down the missing pieces and those responsible.

A new virtual reality experience is allowing users to step into a fully immersive environment where they can move freely and interact with a digital world of dinosaurs. Unlike traditional VR, the experience tracks full body movement, making it feel more lifelike and interactive.

A major satellite imaging company has restricted access to certain images of the Iran conflict, limiting what can be publicly viewed. The decision has raised concerns about transparency, as satellite images have become an important way for the public and analysts to monitor events in real time.
